Debra Tymstra, President
Owner of DWA Business Services and partner with husband Gerry in Sunburst Entertainment. Deb's community involvement includes, Treasurer of Performing Arts Burlington (2003-2007), Past President of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce (1997-98), Past President of Breast Cancer Support Services of Burlington and host, reporter and community producer for TVCogeco. Deb also enjoys supporting our community as an event coordinator for Bereaved Families of Ontario Hamilton-Burlington, and as "M.C" at various community events.

Richard E. Burgess, Vice-President
Rick practices business law at the Burgess Law Office in downtown Burlington. He is Vice Chair of the Halton Police Services Board and a member of the Burlington Community Foundation Board. He is Past Chair of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce (2005-06), a Past President of the Burlington Art Centre Board and has served on the Board of the Tansley Woods Community Centre, and the Nelson High School Council.

Sharon Barley, Secretary
Co-owner and general manager of Barley Flooring in Burlington, Sharon has volunteered extensively for several organizations including the Halton Board of Education, The Salvation Army and The Hamilton Children’s Choir, where she served on the Board of Directors as Concert Manager. Recently she has served as the Volunteer Coordinator for PAB. Sharon’s life long passion for the performing arts is shared by her son, Andrew Barley who is a trained performing artist. |

Richard Rizzo, Treasurer
Richard is a Tax Manager with SB Partners LLP, a leading professional accounting and consulting firm in Burlington. Since he moved to Burlington in July 2005, he has served on the PAB Fundraising committee. As a musician, Richard has recorded and performed for various artists from Burlington, Toronto and Hamilton. He has also won a music award with the band he played for in his native country of Malta. |

Walter Mulkewich, Past President
A former Mayor of the City of
Burlington, Walter is a long-time champion of the arts
in Burlington, including a stint as
a member of the Performing Arts Feasibility Committee
in the 1980s. Now retired, he continues to be an active member
of numerous local boards and committees. |

Bill Leslie
Bill Leslie, along with his partner Stephen Bell, owns and operates Pepperwood Properties. Pepperwood Restaurants include Pepperwood Bistro, La Costa Nuova, and 2020 Lakeside Ristorante in Burlington, Rosewood Bistro in Mississauga and Miller’s Bistro in Etobicoke. Pepperwood’s Catering & Special Events is the exclusive caterer for Beverly Golf & Country Club, Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington Art Centre and Travelodge-on-the-Lake Burlington as well as a full service off site caterer. Bill has been involved in many community organizations and activities personally and through his business with Stephen. Bill and Stephen co-chair PAB's Fundraising Committee: coordinating our French Quarter Festival and Downtown Dining events. |

Rick Goldring
Rick is currently City Councillor for Ward 5 in the City of Burlington and is Chair of the Audit and the Budget and Strategic Planning Committees. A lifelong resident of Burlington, Rick has been in business locally for 27 years and actively involved in community affairs. He is a Senior Financial Advisor with Assante Financial Management and is also a Member and Past President of the Hamilton Chapter of Advocis, Canada’s largest association of Financial Advisors. Rick is also former member of the Board of Directors of the Ron Edwards (Burlington) Family YMCA, the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore.

Joe Henning
As Technical Supervisor at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, Joe is responsible for making sure the show goes on and, for the performers and audience, comes off glitch-free. Never one to seek the spotlight, Joe’s entire 20-year career in the entertainment industry has taken place backstage and behind the scenes. He has taught and mentored up-and-coming technicians at Sheridan College and held seminars for students interested in rigging and lighting. Joe has kept busy at other theatres besides the Oakville Centre. He was Technical Director at the U of T’s Scarborough College Leigha Browne Theatre. As a resident of Burlington, Joe has been a long-standing supporter of the local theatre. |

Carol Krummenacher
Carol is a senior account executive with CIWV-Wave 94.7fm Smooth Jazz Radio. She has worked with PAB for several years to help promote the Second to None event. Carol is past chair of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce PR & Communications committee, and has served on several other committees within the Chamber. She also volunteers her time for SailTime Toronto as a social co-ordinator for their events. Carol recently got married, and enjoys spending time sailing, gardening and the outdoors.

Serena Newman
Serena Newman is a lawyer with Simpson Wigle LLP in the Burlington Office and a registered Trademark Agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. Her practice focus is business law and trade-marks. Prior to joining Simpson Wigle Serena spent several years at a leading Atlantic Canada law firm in New Brunswick. Her community work included extensive involvement with the United Way of Greater Saint John and the New Brunswick Association for Community Living and she looks forward to her involvement with Burlington’s community and in particular with Performing Arts Burlington.

Shawn Clement
Shawn is a lifelong resident of Burlington, and has been involved in the arts and entertainment community for over two decades. He is one of the founding members of No Strings Attached, a local classic swing big band (and a PAB member) a past member and chair of the Executive for the Top Hat Marching Orchestra, and on the advisory committee for the Humber College Theatre
Department. Shawn is a Communications Technology, Computer Engineering, and Entertainment Technology teacher at Burlington Central High School, and can be found at the sound board at many events and festivals around the Golden Horseshoe. |

Brian Heagle
Co-founder and partner of the law firm of Feltmate Delibato Heagle Lawyers LLP with offices in Burlington and Oakville. A Burlington native, Brian is also a current director and Vice-Chair of the Hamilton-Burlington YMCA, in addition to being an active member of other local volunteer groups and their committees. He has served as a director and officer for each of Burlington's Sound of Music Festival, Burlington Basketball (co-founder) and Festival of Friends/Earthsong Festival (Hamilton). |
