Expose yourself – to music!
You did it as a kid or maybe you waited until you were a teenager. As an adult, you gave it up because there were too many other things that took up your time and you weren't in the mood anymore.
Now you've seen other adults doing it. They do it on the street, they do it parks and they do it in PUBLIC! And you have secretly wanted to do it. I know what you were thinking about - playing a musical instrument again! What, that wasn't it? Some of you have hidden that desire and have tried to suppress the urge. It's that musical instrument that you have stashed in a long forgotten cupboard. Well, expose it, use it, play it again!
The Top Hat Marching Orchestra is just for you. We love people who love music. Dust off that trumpet, sax or drum. Brass, woodwinds and percussion players are welcome. No instrument? Not a problem, we'll do our best to get you one. We practice every Wednesday night from 8 - 9:30 p.m. upstairs at the Burlington Legion from September to June.
The Top Hats have been entertaining audiences throughout Canada and the U.S. since 1982. Although we have weekly musical rehearsals we have NEVER had a marching practice! All ages are welcome from 19 to Frank. If you want to know how old Frank is, you'll just have to come out!
